Teachers are also required to have a full background check from Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI), Sex Offender Registry Information (SORI) and Department of Children and Families (DCF) as well as evidence of a medical physical examination and up to date vaccinations. They also hold proper evidence of First Aid and CPR training, which is renewed each year.
Teaching candidates will go through a formal interview process, where they will be invited to show teaching portfolios and any other relevant evidence of curriculum development. They will then be invited back for a working interview with the Director. We will then check references and make each candidate a formal offer at that time.
